Getting Sidetracked by $$$

This post was originally written as part of a Blog called "Receiving Passion". That Blog was part of a journey...and I have decided to add some other posts under this new Blog "The Road to 2012", because it seems appropriate and speaks volumes about how I came to be, where I am now. New post coming shortly!

It's been an interesting 8 months since I signed on with this blog. I have gone through two partnerships for businesses, which I felt would earn an income for me.

I have chased the ideas I thought would be best for earning money without having a typical job. However, at the end of the day, none of those things were ever going to make me happy. I began reading a series of books called "The Ringing Cedars of Russia" over the summer and that has helped me to focus on more of what I want. This process of focusing has never been easy for me, but I am looking to make a better life based on better decisions.

I am discovering passion,love and desire. I am discovering the true me and not the me I have been lead to believe was me. I am embracing more gratitude. I am embracing joy, passion and pursuing subjects that intrigue me instead of what I think should intrigue me.

Money has been an issue for me in the past and I still struggle with making the right financial decisions. However, by embracing my passions, I find myself spending money on things which make me happy and my life is expanding because of it. Learning how to navigate $$$ properly and in a way to empower myself is currently the task at hand.

Receiving passion and giving love is a daily exercise and I will share as the energy in my life seems to ramp up. 'Til next time.

This is Not Where It Started

It would be great to start this blog, saying this is where it all began. However, to say something like that would mean that there was nothing that preceded that moment. Come to think of it when you can you honestly say, this is where it all began? I am starting this blog because I am deeply grateful for all aspects of my life ; past,present and the one I am most fond of...the Future. My friend the future...back to that later.

I am grateful because I have learned so much in my life. I have allowed myself to learn what is making my experience what it is now...and it's totally beautiful. I have drawn in the knowledge to bring me away and out of where I was before, intellectually and spiritually.

I am grateful to be able to say that the experience in my life I was having before are over. I know this because I have definitely changed. I have changed from the inside. I have changed from a cellular level. I have redirected my neurological pathways. I have developed new behaviors. I have embraced a new way of looking at myself and that automatically makes me look at others differently. I AM doing more of what I love. I AM expressing more love. I AM receiving more love. Again, I digress.

I am much more passionate. I am an Aries, a fire sign, and yes, I am mostly fire. However, I have learned how to direct that heat. I have to say, I think I was directing the heat outward in aggressive manner in the treatment of myself and others. I am very intelligent and in the past allowed my intellectual property to be used by others in many different ways. I don't think I need to give examples here, but most people are familiar on some level.

My life lessons have allowed me to use my fire to burn away the things I don't need...and yes, that means everything; not so great people I was hanging out with, the unnecessary fat on my a**, the shirt in the closet I haven't worn more than one in four years and MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE LIMITING BELIEFS I HAD ABOUT MYSELF!!! Yes, right again...there's a reason that's in capitals. This was one thing, that I have to say changed everything immediately. I can honestly say all of the other things I did led me to that point, but letting a shiny new belief system about yourself is fabulous.

This is now one of my biggest passions in life...to assist others in doing the same. I know there are a lot of self-help gurus, but there are many tools I have in my tool box, which others don't have. I am developing a website to do this on a grander scale. My business partner is a very special person with special gifts and together we will each be offering services, which compliment each other in wonderful ways. I look forward to sharing this journey and its inspirations.

This post seems appropriate to place in this blog " The Road to 2012", because that is where I am now, in 2012. Many of the themes I express and issues I discuss are topics which come more to light in this year,2012...The Year of the Dragon.
